My daughter and son-in-law came over and helped us lift the granite on top of the desk cabinet. I was then able to trim the face of the window. We laid the granite backsplash on its side under the window. We will have a great pass through for food.

I woke one morning with the idea to use the medallions that Steven had. We decided to use the larger one for the upper window and the smaller ones for the lower window..

East kitchen window that is over the sink has been trimmed. The apron will wait until the granite is installed. The pipes above are for the upstairs radiator and will need to be covered.

Steven created the sliding door from materials we had saved left from a media cabinet. He cut them to size and taped together.
Steven rented a large floor sander and sanded the kitchen with 4 grits and the dining floor with 1 grit in 4 hours.
