We finished taping, mudding, and sanding the bathroom in preparation of radiator installation. Today was the day to paint the ceiling and walls. The shower ceiling will be painted white.
Bathrooms
Ceramic walls installed to Ceiling
The tiles are installed up to the ceiling. We have decided to also tile the ceiling.
Bathroom mudding
We need to finish the wall behind the towel warmer radiator before it is installed. The wall consisted of rough cement board so Steven had to mud the entire wall. It is looking pretty good. We just can’t decide what color to paint the bathroom.

Work on last radiator
To install the towel warmer radiator we need to finish the drywall behind it. This includes fixing the pocket door which had been making a noise every time it was opened. Steven finally removed it and discovered there was wood sticking out and catching. The bottom of the door was severely cracked. The noise disappeared. Now the drywall could be installed and the bath walls muddled.

Ceramic shower
Today I began installing the ceramic tile. Finished half of the back wall.
Sealing shower seams
The seams have fiber tape and now Steven is sealing with thin set in preparation of waterproofing. He also caulked the outer edges.

Tub Room
The towel warmer radiator was installed in the tub room on the second floor.
Bathroom medicine chest
We had an Art Deco medicine chest that we installed into the drywall installation of the first floor bathroom. The sink and cabinet were purchased at the ReStore.
Durock and Permabase added
To waterproof the shower we installed Durock and Permabase. We will be installing ceramic tile.
