The lower bathroom got a stencil near the ceiling. The living room received large stencils around the lower part of the wall below the wallpaper border.

First Floor Bathroom Window and Shower Curtains
The shower curtain is from a previous home and the window curtains came with the house.
Lace Curtains reconfigured for Shower Curtains
I had 2 sets of beautiful lace curtains that didn’t work on any windows. One set had a lovely scalloped hemline. Both sets had roses. I sewed buttonholes in the top of all four to allow them to be hung with shower hooks. They are protected with a clear vinyl shower liner.
Shower Curtain Railing
The shower curtain rail had to be suspended from the ceiling on one end and attached to the wall (window trim in this case). It was tricky but we were successful and know have a shower. We already had white ceramic shower hooks with pink roses. I will alternate them with the bronze hooks that came with the railing. I found the floor mat in our crawl space collection.
Tub room Chair rail
We had gotten this chair rail a long time ago. I think it was from the ReUse store that is no longer open. The towel warmer luckily was at the exact height for the chair rail is rest just above it. I used a coping saw to shape the end of the rail so it would fit curved into the vanity.
1st floor shower walls tiled
The first floor shower is tiled and ready for grout..Steven installed the ceiling boards.
Water closet pedestal sink
The pedestal sink is installed in the second floor water closet.
1st Floor bathroom ready to use
Steven installed the toilet and sink in the 1st floor bathroom. We now have an usable bathroom on the first floor and it even has a sliding pocket door!
Grouted bathroom tile
It has been some time since I installed the ceramic floor tile. When I cleaned the tile in preparation of grouting, I discovered many loose tiles that I needed to reattach. We chose white grout and I am very happy with the results.
Bathtub slow drain
I used the bathtub faucet to get water for cleaning the second floor dust. The tub drained very slowly. We were concerned that there was something wrong with the plumbing installation. I poked my finger in the drain and discovered what felt like a mat of hair. I took a long nosed pliers and pulled out a mass of ugly matted hair. Fortunately the tub now drains quickly.
