We removed this window during the roof raise and reconditioned it. Now it is trimmed.

We removed this window during the roof raise and reconditioned it. Now it is trimmed.
The trim was designed to give an old-fashioned early 1900s look.
This window has the inner trim and the sill added. Painted white
We renting a small edge sander, Steven sanded the dining room area for the breakfront alcove and closets and the bedroom alcove and closets. We can then build the 2 x 4 walls.
The door for the middle sitting room has new stain – dark for the hallway side and light for the sitting room side.
The inner edges were painted to add style and for ease of method.
We created a sitting room in the north bedroom for comfortable lunch breaks. Two rocking chairs with outside seat cushions.
We found this door on clearance at Menards. It was a display door with a different finish on each side. I needed to sand, stain and finish to match our decor.
The pine doors were found at ReStore and have been stained.
We have a collection of tools for working and furniture for the future Airbnb stored in different rooms making working a bit more difficult.
We wanted to put in a Murphy bed in the first floor bedroom so it was a more versatile room and could also be used as an office. We found this lovely bed with mattress and two bookcases. The previous owners were artists and we really enjoyed meeting them.
On the other side of the Murphy frame is the back of the breakfront we found at the ReStore.
Opposite the Murphy Bed are the windows which will have a closet on each side and a window seat over the radiator.
