We went to ReUse Center. I said I hope we don’t find any furniture but if we do it will be me. Well it was and it was a deal and goes beautifully in the living room.
And then a friend crocheted an afghan that goes beautifully too.

Friends were moving to Chicago and wanted to see the house. Two other couples also came.

We re-installed the living room picture rail.
Found Brackets
I found two matching brackets in the basement. They were covered with white paint so I stripped them and sprayed a metallic bronze. Perfect for the open passageway between the dining and living room!
Stenciling Bathroom and Living Room
The lower bathroom got a stencil near the ceiling. The living room received large stencils around the lower part of the wall below the wallpaper border.
New living Room Curtains
The living room curtains needed updating. I had sheer fabric purchased from Goodwill that I made new curtains. I also trimmed the bottom of the lace curtains curtains to provide a scalloped effect. The sheers can be pulled for more privacy.
China cabinet
The china cabinet between the dining room and living room is finished so the wall paper border was installed and the stencils were painted.
