This china cabinet was found along side of the road on our way to church. Steven cut it down to lower it. I stained the surface to darken it. We decided to build it in half way.

Steven got a dining room table with claw feet at Goodwill for a dollar. I scraped off paint and rubbed it down with steel wool and denatured alcohol. I was amazed at the results! I will put a coat of shellack on it to further smooth out the finish. We have needlepoint chairs purchased at the ReStore.
The two dining room closets have been sheet rocked and painted.
Staining old door jams and door stops. The jambs are wider than needed so we will need to rip them down and then restain.
We are reusing the original trim, much of which had been painted. I had earlier scraped off much of the paint and now I am sanding and staining.
Steven finished mudding the closets. Now to let them dry for sanding.
The dining room closets (coat and pantry) are drywalled and ready for mudding.
Steven framed the pantry closet.
When we organized and cleared the north porch, Steven brought in the parts for the dining room table. It is lying on a piece of foam to prevent scratching. I is ready to be put back together. Notice the wonderful carving and claw feet.
Steven was excited to start the tung oil application. We were able to applied one coat before Steven started to hurt. . I poured the tung oil and Steven spread it.
