Dining Room
Dining room wallpaper
I had purchased 2 double rolls of wallpaper from ReStore. It had a repeat of 10″. We decided we didn’t want it behind the double sconces.
Dining room floor wet mopped
Dining Room paint & wallpaper
The alcove was painted.
The walls were painted partway.
Drywall finished and painted – time for light fixtures
Dining room light purchased at ReStore. The ceiling medallion was purchased from a thrift store.
Drywall in alcove
Drywall on first floor
We hired the installation of drywall and mudding for the first floor.
Sanding the dining and bedroom alcoves
We renting a small edge sander, Steven sanded the dining room area for the breakfront alcove and closets and the bedroom alcove and closets. We can then build the 2 x 4 walls.
Breakfront Alcove
We purchased this breakfront at the ReStore in New Brighton, then created an alcove for it in the dining room. There will be a pantry closet on the right and a coat closet on the left. The glass doors are stored safely in an upstairs closet. The middle opens to a desk with pull out drawers.
Found on the way to church
We found this upper cabinet on the side of the road when we were driving to church. We have removed the glass shelves and doors. We may cut it in half and use as a divider between the dining and living rooms.
