Replacing the Stair Railing

When we added the full second story, the stairway was changed and the handrail was no longer long enough. The handrails at local lumber stores were not wide enough. A lumber yard in Minneapolis had the perfect handrail. Steven worked with it and our original spindles.

Steven cut the end rail post in steps and then cut the landing to match to add strength to the railing
Railing from ReStore was originally golden oak. Sanding and staining brought it to match the house. It was too long and did not meet code for spacing between spindles so Steven dismantled it and put it back together.
