On the way to church, we found the cabinet along side the road. We have hardwood flooring missing because built in bookcases are missing and that spot needs covering up. Steven removed part of the wall, so the doorway outdoors be at least 32”
We passed our final electrical inspection today. He noticed the electrical strip Steven had added to the desk “I didn’t see that,” he says. Also
the lights in the bedroom closets were not positioned correctly. Steven also has to change an outlet in the basement from 4 to 2. He signed our permit as passed!
We had taken out the original door going out to the north porch and put in a bigger door that had been the front door in the living room that we had replaced with a big window. I found original trim that was narrow.
Steven rented an edge sander and spent two days sanding along the walls so we can install baseboards and radiators.
The resin paper shut out too much sun. I found a roll of fabric in my crawl space. It was from IKEA that I purchased from Goodwill. It screens out most of the hot sun while letting in more light. The photo is an exterior shot.
The north original window needed trim boards between the windows and smaller trim boards around them. Steven ripped the boards for me. I painted and installed.
Steven adjusted the door so I could add the trim.
Added the top pieces of the kitchen window. I also adjusted the right vertical window.
